Schedule a Teams Live Event
If any of the user in the organization want to broadcast
video and meeting content to the large audience then the Live Event could be
the great option.
Who can create live Event?
The Office 365 User whose license matches the Enterprise E1,
E3, E5 or Office A3 or A5 license can create a live event if the user is permitted for the live events from Microsoft Team Admin Center.
Go to the calendar; Click on New meeting and Click on Live
Event.
Add the Title, Date & Time, and the invite the presenters
to your event by typing the email address.
Live
events can be private or the public events. Public events can be attended by anyone
with the link, but the private events can be attended by people in the organization
or the certain group. You can also provide the support link for the assistance
in an event so that attendees can go through the support if needed. Click
on schedule after making all the necessary changes.
You can also edit the meeting if required
The schedule event will get displayed on the respective
calendar of the presenter and the producer.
Double click on the Calendar event, to join.
Mod Administrator was the Event Producer. The event
producer screen will be displayed as below
Megan is the Presenter. Let’s see how the presenter
screen looks on joining the event.
The presenter screen will be displayed as below
When Megan joins the live session, the producer is now be
able to see Megan as the presenter on the display.
Now Lets see what will happen when Megan shares her screen
After Megan shares her screen, the screen content will be
displayed at the producer end.
Double click on the Megan’s Content, Megan’s Desktop content
will be added on the queue.
Drag the down the Side Bar. You will see the Send Live option,
Click on it.
The content is now sent to live event but still has not been
started. Click on the Start to go Live.
Make sure if you want to start the live event and click on
continue
Live broadcast of event has now taken place.
Any user with the link will now be able to see the live
event.
